NCSPIR website now live

Press Release – 16 May 2024

The National Centre for Supervision of Parent-Infant Relationships (NCSPIR) has launched a new website. This online resource offers access to supervision services for practitioners as well as an information hub on the topic of supervision of parent-infant relationships, including blogs, thought leadership and case studies.

NCSPIR is delivered by Tavistock Relationships in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Care and is part of the Family Hubs and Start for Life programme. The website will support the Centre’s purpose to help practitioners working therapeutically with families, ensuring they have access to clinical supervisors with expertise in parent-infant relationships.

A bank of more than forty NCSPIR Supervisors are available to be matched with local authority areas who have expressed an interest in supervision. NCSPIR Supervisors will be able to remain connected with the programme through a password protected area of the website which includes supervision resources and news.

NCSPIR Programme Lead, Claire Hopkins says: “We are delighted to have this new website live. It offers an easily accessible portal for local authorities, supervisors and supervisees and is an excellent way to stay up to date with the programme. The website will be a dynamic resource, regularly updated with news, articles and support.”
